About Sparsh

A little more
of the story.

Building things has always been part of my life. So have the places, people, and communities that give those things a reason to exist.

Before the roadmaps

Something useful.
Something I could build.

Robotics & learning

Learning by making things move.

Early projects included a self-stabilizing tri-copter and a Bluetooth-controlled RC car. They brought software into the physical world: controls, sensors, and machines you could see respond.

I founded Playground in 2014, an initiative around energy and robotics. The work included teaching software development and exploring solar power for agricultural robots.

A real everyday need

Making housing information easier to find.

I built the Delhi Girls PG Android app to help people explore housing information. Maps, images, and a mobile interface turned a practical need into a product I could make.

Those early projects sit alongside experiments in games, networks, voice recognition, and machine learning.

More early projects

My public project history includes an Android Unity game, a C++ railway-ticketing application, voice recognition using neural networks, linear discriminant analysis, a compiler/processor project, and an IPv4 router.

Education

Delhi, Madison, and Berkeley.

I began at Delhi Technological University before transferring to UW–Madison, where I studied computer science. I later completed my MBA at Berkeley Haas, exploring negotiations and disruptive innovation alongside product and business leadership.

phData · 2017
phData

A first step into data engineering.

My 2017 internship at phData in Minneapolis involved Airflow solutions for big-data processing. It formed part of the path from hands-on engineering into product work.

Microsoft · 2018–2022

From engineering to product.

My work spanned Azure Data Factory and Azure Percept: data platforms, reliability, developer experience, and edge AI. Merged contributions in Microsoft’s public Azure repository offer one window into that work.

Salesforce · Since 2022

Helping people trust what comes next.

My product work has included MuleSoft Runtime Fabric and its OpenShift integration, and now focuses on AI governance and evaluations. Public writing and sessions explore the choices that help people keep control as technology takes on more work.

Washington, DC · 2025

Business meets public policy.

Through The Washington Campus, I completed a course on business, public affairs, and public policy. My Business of Politics coursework included a prepared briefing on AI identity protection and employment, and a team paper on privacy, transparency, and regulation.

Amsterdam · 2026

Start with the people who live with the problem.

In the Haas/THNK innovation sprint, our team addressed a City of Amsterdam challenge about AI serving humanity. Interviews and problem reframing informed Mokum, our published AI-trust concept.

Technical learning & professional interests

I earned the Certified Kubernetes Administrator credential through The Linux Foundation in August 2022. Professional interests listed in my public profile also include the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, an opt-in research community.

The council is a reader-research community; it is separate from a university appointment or an editorial role.

Beyond work

More than one
way to show up.

Arts, dance, and belonging.

I was part of the core team for Aa Dekhen Zara in Madison, and have spent time in the communities around Dil Se Rave in San Francisco and Mehfil Nights in Seattle.

My arts involvement includes American Conservatory Theater’s Rising Leaders events and San Francisco Ballet’s Young Patrons Circle community. Dance remains part of my life, beyond a professional title.

Service & community.

Through Berkeley Board Fellows, I worked with Performing Arts Workshop on board engagement and strategic planning. I’ve also been involved with the Bay Area Badgers alumni chapter board.

Service includes Food Lifeline Fresh Rescue volunteering, Girls on the Run event volunteering, and United Way of King County’s Emerging Leaders program.

₹350,000 toward solar-panel installations.

Through Bharat Vikas Parishad, I volunteered for solar awareness and donated toward installations. Earlier Rotary volunteering supported essential goods, nutrition, and polio-vaccination efforts. Other giving has included donor support for Undue Medical Debt, formerly RIP Medical Debt.

Student communities

My public profile also lists involvement with Kappa Eta Kappa, AIESEC, and Badger CETE. These communities form part of the broader story beyond my professional work.
